Both bridges have FAST lanes for pre-approved commercial carriers. At the Gordie Howe Bridge, the Canadian port of entry has 24 primary inspection lanes, up to 16 of which can be used for commercial traffic, and the U.S. port has 36 primary lanes. At the Ambassador Bridge, U.S.-bound trucks are processed at CBP’s Fort Street cargo facility, (313) 964-7191. Phone numbers and addresses for every port are on our border crossings page.
